January 31 JxJ 2009 1月号♪遅くなったけど、
あけましておめでとうございます！！
12月はｼｱﾄﾙではめずらしく大雪で
JxJをキャンセルしなきゃいけなくて本当に残念でした。
ｼｱﾄﾙで雪が降ると、みんな対応できなくって、
家にスタックしちゃいますね。
公共のバスまで止まったり、
便数が減ったりしてかなり不便でしたね…。
最近はｼｱﾄﾙでは珍しく晴れの日が続いています。
そろそろｼﾄｼﾄ雨が恋しくなりますねー笑
1月のJxJにきてくれたみんな、
どうもありがとう！！
とってもたくさんの人が来てくれて、
外は寒かったけれど、
ISIハウス内は熱気でムンムンだったように思います。
ゲームも楽しかったですねー。
笑いました＾＾
今回が最後の人が多くて本当に残念ですが、
いつでもｼｱﾄﾙに戻ってきて、
JxJに来てくださいね！！
日本でも頑張ってねー♪♪
次のJxJは2月28日ですが、その前に
2月7日(Sat) 2:30-4pmにJxJ Cafeがあります。
みんなでバイブルを読んだり、
Q&Aの時間を持ったりします。
聖書を読んだことのない人も、
ｶﾌｪに立ち寄る感じで気軽に来てくださいね。
そんなに堅苦しくなくて、
楽しめるスタディーだと思います♪

It was so sad that we had to
cancel JxJ in December due to the heavy snow.
I know many of you got stuck at home during that time.
We were surprized how bad the public transportation was.
Recently we're having more sunny days.
Are you starting to miss rainy days in Seattle?!
Thank you for those of you who came to January JxJ.
It was so cold outside,
but it was really warm inside of the house
because so many people came!
We had so much fun and laughter playing games.
It was sad that many of you are
going back to Japan in couple weeks,
but we hope to see you here at JxJ.
Please come back here anytime!

Next JxJ is February 28th, but before that
we'll have JxJ Cafe on Feb. 7th (Sat) 2:30-4pm.
We're going to read Bible, have discussion and Q&A.
Even if you haven't read Bible, you're welcome to come!!

なかなか日本食や日本のおかしを食べる機会がないみんなもEnjoyできたと思います。
TAEKOさんの手作りエクレアもおいしかったですねー♪エクレアなんて久しぶりに食べました。

いつもどおり、2時半からISI Houseでやってます！
その後は、BBQを食べに出かけるので、時間がある人は一緒に行きましょう★

今月もJxJに来てくれたみなさん、ご飯などのサポートをしてくださったみなさん本当にありがとう！
ちょっと遅くなりましたが、8月23日のJxJの写真アップしました。
夏休中ということもあり、今回は少人数でしたが、楽しいゲームと心に響く証しなど内容の濃い3時間でした。
ちなみに今月のケーキはヨーグルトクリームのティラミス。
今回のJxJを最後に、1年以上JxJのスタッフとして奉仕をしてくれたまいこちゃんが日本に帰国することになりました。まいこちゃん本当にありがとう、そしてお疲れ様でした。
来週末9月6日土曜日は2時半からISIハウスでバイブルスタディをします。今回のトピックは前回に続き“確信”シリーズで、祈りの確信について勉強します。クリスチャンや教会や聖書に関する疑問を気軽に聞くことのできる機会なので、興味のある方はぜひ参加してくださいね。
9月の第3週目9月20日土曜日は2時半からグリーンレイクでバレーボールをします。
他にも、こんなイベントをして欲しいというリクエストがあれば、いつでもJxJまでご連絡ください。アドレスは jjseattle@hotmail.com です。

Thank you all for coming to JxJ this month, and special thanks to those who brought food!!!
August JxJ photos are now ready for viewing.
We had a smaller group this month because many people were on vacation. We enjoyed lots of fun games and a wonderful testomony. Taeko made yogurt tiramisu, which was excellent.
This was the last JxJ for our staff, Maiko, who returned to Japan on Aug 25. She served as a JxJ staff for over a year, and we miss her a lot. Thank you, Maiko for all your hard work.
The next Bible Study is on Sept 6 Sat from 2:30 @ ISI House. The topic is "assurance of answered prayer." This is a great oportunity for those who are interested in Christianity to ask questions regarding churches, Bible and Christians.
On Sept 20 at 2:30, we are going to play volleyball in Green Lake. If you are interested in organizing other socializing activities, please let us know. We'd love to hear your insight.
The next JxJ is on Sept 27 at 5:30pm. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
