今月もJxJに来てくれたみなさん、ご飯などのサポートをしてくださったみなさん本当にありがとう！
ちょっと遅くなりましたが、8月23日のJxJの写真アップしました。
夏休中ということもあり、今回は少人数でしたが、楽しいゲームと心に響く証しなど内容の濃い3時間でした。
ちなみに今月のケーキはヨーグルトクリームのティラミス。
今回のJxJを最後に、1年以上JxJのスタッフとして奉仕をしてくれたまいこちゃんが日本に帰国することになりました。まいこちゃん本当にありがとう、そしてお疲れ様でした。
来週末9月6日土曜日は2時半からISIハウスでバイブルスタディをします。今回のトピックは前回に続き“確信”シリーズで、祈りの確信について勉強します。クリスチャンや教会や聖書に関する疑問を気軽に聞くことのできる機会なので、興味のある方はぜひ参加してくださいね。
9月の第3週目9月20日土曜日は2時半からグリーンレイクでバレーボールをします。
他にも、こんなイベントをして欲しいというリクエストがあれば、いつでもJxJまでご連絡ください。アドレスは jjseattle@hotmail.com です。

August JxJ photos are now ready for viewing.
We had a smaller group this month because many people were on vacation. We enjoyed lots of fun games and a wonderful testomony. Taeko made yogurt tiramisu, which was excellent.
This was the last JxJ for our staff, Maiko, who returned to Japan on Aug 25. She served as a JxJ staff for over a year, and we miss her a lot. Thank you, Maiko for all your hard work.
The next Bible Study is on Sept 6 Sat from 2:30 @ ISI House. The topic is "assurance of answered prayer." This is a great oportunity for those who are interested in Christianity to ask questions regarding churches, Bible and Christians.
On Sept 20 at 2:30, we are going to play volleyball in Green Lake. If you are interested in organizing other socializing activities, please let us know. We'd love to hear your insight.
The next JxJ is on Sept 27 at 5:30pm. We are looking forward to seeing you there!

８月１５、１６、１７日の３日間、シアトルから北へ車で１時間のWarmbeachでキャンプがあります。
運動会や応援合戦など、楽しいイベントをたくさん用意してるので、参加希望の方はJxJメンバーまで早めにご連絡くださいね。
この他にも、グリーンレイクで土曜日や日曜日にバレーボールをしたりなど、JxJではいろいろなイベントを行っています。

グループでやるジェスチャーゲーム。
かたつむり、くじら、象、サーフィン、妊婦、ひま、家族、富士山、車、ハリケーンなどなど
10人くらいでお題のものを形作ると言うものだったのですが、
ちゃんと作れてなくても意外と当たるものですねー。
We played gesture game with group of 10 or so. Each group made a shape of snail, wheal, elephant, surfing, pregnant, board, family, Mt. Fuji, car, hurricane, etc. We’re surprised how well people guessed the answers.

Faith Bible ChurchのFamily conference/Retreat（教会のキャンプ）と合同でします。
なので、いつものFriendship Houseでのスタディーはお休みです。
キャンプは10月5日金曜日の夜から、7日日曜日のお昼まで。
一日や、二日だけというふうに部分参加もできます。

Next month (Oct), we have JxJ Bible study conbined with Faith Bible Church Family Retreat.
Please DO NOT come to Friendship house because there is NO BIBLE STUDY there on Oct 6th.
The church retreat is from Oct. 5th (evening) to 7th (noon).
You can come part time such as Saturday only or Saturday to Sunday.
